Monceau Langues is responsible for processing your personal data. This data is processed by duly trained personnel. In the case of services outsourced to our partners, your data may be processed by our service providers. These service providers have been evaluated and chosen by Monceau Langues for their proven reliability and competence.

2. What personal data do we collect?
A. Participant or trainee :
- Surname and first name
- Gender
- Nationality
- Postal address (billing addresses)
- Country of residence
- Telephone number (business, mobile and personal).
- Business or personal e-mail address
- Date of birth
- In the context of a language stay: Health status (e.g. allergies or any other chronic condition)
- Preferences (e.g. diary constraints, career development plans, choice of accommodation, special diet, etc.)
- Information about your current proficiency in your target language
- Company address and name
- Information collected through cookies, beacons and other technologies
B. Trainer
When you apply, we collect the following information:
- First and last name
- Gender
- Date of birth
- E-mail and telephone details
- Postal address
- Nationality
- Qualifications and experience, including proof or certificates where applicable
- Language training skills
- Personal interests
- Any references we may contact
When you sign a contract with us, we must collect the following additional information:
- ID
- Proof of your right to work in your country of residence
- Bank details
- Social Security and URSSAF numbers
3. How do we collect personal data?
We may collect personal data in several ways:
- Through our website, for example when you request a personalized quote or brochure.
- Directly from you:
- When you voluntarily communicate this information by telephone or e-mail
- When you officially confirm a registration for a classroom training course, e-learning course, telephone course or language stay
- When you apply for a position as an employee or service provider trainer
- Your employer, when he/she provides us with information such as your professional details or job title.
- Thanks to cookies : Cookies enable browsers to transmit data from a computer or other device for archiving or other purposes. If you do not wish to have information collected through the use of cookies, there is a simple setting on most browsers that allows you to refuse the use of cookies.
4. How do we use your personal data?
A. Participant or trainee
Processing of your data:
- Your personal data is processed by the Monceau Langues teams in order to provide you with the services you have ordered. By providing us with your information at the time of your request or registration, you give us your consent to use your personal data to respond to your request for information or to organize the requested training. We may send you emails and newsletters that we think may be of interest to you. You may withdraw your consent at any time.
- Your personal data is passed on to the selected trainers, employees or service providers. We share information such as your age, your learning objectives, your contact details, or your language level in the target language in order to best adapt the requested training module to your needs and expectations. Trainers are not authorized to use your contact details for purposes other than those immediately related to your training.
- In the case of language stays, we will also pass on your registration and confirmation details to our partners. They are authorized to use your details only for purposes directly related to the organization of your language stay. Once the stay is over, the local organizers delete any personal data they may have used.
- Cookies: We use this information anonymously for statistical purposes in order to understand how users use our site and to improve its structure and content.
Data shared with you:
In the case of language stays, we provide you with the profile and contact details of the host teacher or host family. Under data protection laws, you are responsible for the security of this data. You must not use the information you provide for any purpose other than that which is directly necessary for your language stay.
B. Trainer
Processing your data:
- By providing us with this information, you grant us the right to use it to respond to your request or to process your contract. These details are necessary to enable us to comply with the law and to offer you assignments in line with your skills and qualifications.
- With your consent, your profile information may be used on anonymous CVs, in marketing brochures or on our website. Your anonymized CV (without your address, e-mail telephone number or surname) may be communicated to customers or prospects, or in response to a call for tenders.
- Customers and participants are not permitted to use your contact details for any purpose other than those immediately related to their training with you. You may request access to your CV or refuse to provide this information at any time.
Data shared with you:
When we contact you regarding a possible training course, we will share with you certain information about the learner: name, age, language needs, preferences and availability. Once you've confirmed the training, we'll share more information with you: the learner's e-mail address, telephone number and training location. Under data protection laws, you are responsible for the security of this data. You must not use the information provided for any purpose other than that directly necessary for the training entrusted to you. You must not share learner data with other third parties.
5. How long do we keep personal data?
We will only retain your personal data for a limited period of time, depending on the purpose for which it was collected, at the end of which your personal data will be deleted or in any case rendered irreversibly anonymous unless further retention of such data is required for compliance with a legal obligation or for the implementation, exercise or defense of legal claims, or unless a specific time limit has been communicated. The retention period varies according to the purpose of the processing.
6. Security
We implement appropriate organizational, technical and administrative measures to ensure that personal data under our control is accurate and up-to-date, and to protect personal data against unauthorized or unlawful processing and accidental loss, destruction or damage.
7. What are your rights concerning your data?
